"This year marks my 26th year working in the disability and community services sector, including the NDIS since 2013. What began in 2000, working in a predominantly male institution, has evolved into a deeply personal and professional journey shaped by lived experience. As a proud mother of two sons with dual disabilities, I bring both personal insight and professional expertise to my work. Throughout my career, I have worked in a range of roles, including nurse, Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) worker, disability support worker, regional and service manager, service coordinator, NDIS partner employee and business owner. This combination of lived experience and practical knowledge has given me a deep understanding of what it means to live, learn and work within our wonderful industry.
